Knitwear
Fine knitwear rewards a considered approach.
Cotton Knitwear
Naturally breathable and soft.
- Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle, with the spin cycle off.
- Use a knitwear wash bag to protect the fabric.
- Reshape while damp and dry flat out of direct sunlight.
- Cool iron under a damp cloth. Do not tumble dry.
Lambswool
Remarkably soft with natural insulating properties.
- Hand wash in cold water with a wool detergent.
- Do not wring or twist.
- Lay flat to dry away from direct heat.
- Let the fibre rest between wears: fresh air is often all it needs.
Merino Wool
Exceptionally refined and breathable.
- Hand wash cold, or machine wash on a wool cycle (max 30°C) with the spin off.
- Use a knitwear wash bag when machine washing.
- Reshape and dry flat away from direct heat.
- Steam lightly or iron inside out to restore the knit.
Fine Knitwear
With the proper care, your knitwear will stay in your wardrobe for years.
- Wash sparingly and air between wears.
- Never hang when wet: always dry flat.
- Fold rather than hang to keep the shape, especially between seasons.
Shirts
Crisp cotton, linen blends and easy-care finishes, cared for to stay sharp.
Shirts
- Unbutton fully, including collar and cuffs, before washing.
- Machine wash at 30°C with similar colours. Do not bleach or tumble dry.
- Hang to dry on a shaped hanger, smoothing the collar and placket while damp.
- Iron slightly damp on medium: collar, cuffs, sleeves, then body.
- Easy-care and anti-wrinkle shirts need only a light press, or none.
Cotton & Linen
A sharp shirt starts with how it hangs.
- Hang with the top button fastened to keep the collar in line.
- Leave space in the wardrobe so shirts don't crease against each other.
- Cotton-linen creases naturally: a quick steam refreshes it.
Golfers
From cotton piqué to technical fabrics, each golfer has its own care.
Cotton Golfers
Piqué and mercerised cotton for everyday comfort.
- Machine wash in cool water with similar colours.
- Do not bleach or tumble dry.
- Dry inside out to avoid colour fade.
- Cool iron inside out if needed, avoiding embroidery and trims.
Performance Golfers
Technical stretch fabrics that work hardest when cared for gently.
- Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out.
- Do not use fabric softener: it can reduce moisture wicking.
- Do not bleach. Line dry in the shade, as tumble drying can affect the stretch.
- Ironing is rarely needed. If it is, use a low setting and avoid prints and logos.
On & Off the Course
Ready for the next round.
- Wash soon after a round so sweat doesn't set into the fabric.
- Never leave a damp golfer in your golf bag.
- Store on a shaped hanger to keep the collar and shoulders in form.
T-Shirts

Classic cotton denim designed to soften and improve with wear.

- Do not bleach or dry clean.
- Line dry to limit shrinkage, or tumble dry on medium.
- Dark denim may transfer colour to lighter fabrics.
